It's All About L.O.V.E

There are times in our lives that we less think of those people who had always been there to love us and to value us.There are times that we tend to forget them because little we knew we have been appreciated by these people.Sometimes, we bump into someone who knew a little of us and from there we started to develop something that is opted to grow and become into a beautiful bond.We started to hang out together, share secrets and dreams.Cry over silly staffs and laugh to each others corniest joke. But we never realized that what was shared between the two of you is a bond called love.

Love as we all know is something we give to someone or somebody without even prior notice. We receive love from those people who had learned to love and appreciate us.Love is something that we tend to share to someone who had made us feel so comfortable and make us feel safe and secure.Sometimes,we never thought that doing little things for others is one way of expressing our love for them.Things we do to make others happy is one way of showing them that they are somehow loved. In all aspects of life, there is love.Love knows no boundaries and limits.Love is not merely because of material things but because of the feeling of loving someone.Love is one way of expressing once feelings to others.Love is a matter of joys and sadness.Friendships all over the world share love and because of this the relationship remained to be stronger and unbeatable at any circumstances.Love is definitely the bond that is shared by two person who are believed to be in love.It is a mutual understanding between two people who had learned to appreciate and respect each other.Love is only gained when you are ought to be loved.Love is a magic. But at times no matter how beautiful love is it can even cause us painful facts that somehow when remembered could even broke our hearts. No matter what is the definition of love, love is a word that gives so much joy and happiness to the many.A smile that can never be replaced on a face of someone who was in love.A laughter shared by two friends.A young teenager walking just behind her/his crush.Love is every where and it is believed to be the most strongest feeling of all.

For me as a writer,Love is a feeling of great joy and happiness. It is a feeling of warmth and comfort.Although at times it brings pains and sadness, love is something I know I had cherished and no matter how painful my experiences with love,I will never ever stop loving for the reason that LOVE makes the world go round.

Concerned Citizen

August 23,2010 was a big day and unforgettable for all of us Filipinos. It was the most unexpected event of our lives. All of us were so busy with our everyday activities and never even figure it out that such incident will ever happen.Who could have ever thought that a man who was regarded as a good role model and leader will ever do such act.It was so hard to believe that out of despair and frustrations, many lives will be put into great jeopardy and danger.

I was having my review and I was excited for our lecture when my best friend texted me and told me that there was a hostage incident in Metro Manila.I couldn't even believe it because she was referring to a man who was once recognized as a leader to his fellow policemen.Mendoza was a good man and was awarded as a good leader who had serve his country at great cost. But with just a click of an eye,he was right there inside that bus holding the lives of the Hong Kong nationals and making his life into big jeopardy.I know how it feels to be in such a situation. The effect of it to the victims is not just an overnight experienced but for a lifetime. He maybe was too frustrated that he decided to take hold of the tourist and had thought by doing it, the government will make him come back to his work and continue his service to the country.Hence,he failed. He knew that at that moment,he will never ever be back to service.Hostage taking is not merely a solution to his favors and because of what he did,who is a stupid man to believe him.

The scenario even took so long that at the time I was home, my mother was still watching it on the Philippine television.I thought of how many times did i saw such scenes in the television yet it look so different here in our country. The media is covering everything without even giving a little consideration to whatever Mendoza can see inside the bus television. The crime scene must have been enclosed with a parameter tape and only the SWAT team is allowed to get in to recover the victims. The tactics was yet to be considered to be poor since the SWAT doesn't even know what to do and what not to do.There are less equipment and gears to be used in order to ensure their safety too.Are we this poor that we can't even afford to buy such equipments? Why do we spend more with an inauguration worth millions and millions of many yet we can't buy things needed by the SWAT team? Why do we prioritize those things that are least needed rather than those which are more needed during such scenarios? What is more funnier is that the tear gas is bought from EBAY.Does the government don't have any budget for such equipment?Did they still BID in order to get that TEAR GAS?This is a crazy fact to know. What happened to the trainings that these policemen had during their entrance in PNP?Did they train hard or just get in because of CONNECTIONS?Why did it take 12 hours before they could make a move? These are questions that are needed to be answered. These are the questions that we can't find any solutions right away.Few had died yet many had suffered. This is not just like a movie.Once the director says "CUT" everything is done. The dead rise up and wash up.This is real life situations that are not need to be taken for granted of.These are situations that are so crucial and not to be make fun of.

What will happen now to our fellow men Hong Kong? They will be the one to suffer our failures.
